By using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
2. Definitions
- User — a natural person who has created an account in the Application.
- Account — a User’s individual account secured by email and password or Google OAuth sign-in.
- Service — the Vaulito web application together with all its features and components.
- Free Plan — the free tier with limitations (3 AI actions per day, 10 documents).
- Plus Plan — a paid subscription with extended limits.
- Premium Plan — a paid subscription with unlimited AI access and advanced reports.
- AI Features — features powered by artificial intelligence (Smart Scan, Vaultie, bank import, AI reports).
- Household — a group of Users sharing financial data.
3. Service Description
Vaulito is a personal finance management application that enables:
- Tracking expenses and income with categories, tags, and search.
- Managing budgets with per-month amount overrides.
- Monitoring loans and repayment schedules with overpayment simulation.
- Setting savings goals with contributions and progress tracking.
- Managing recurring expenses with automatic execution.
- Planning events and reminders in a calendar.
- Importing bank statements (CSV, XLSX, PDF) with AI assistance.
- Scanning receipts and invoices (OCR + AI).
- Chatting with an AI assistant (Vaultie).
- Sharing finances within a household.
- Document vault (warranties, contracts, manuals).
- Financial reports and analytics.
- Data export and account deletion (GDPR compliance).
4. Disclaimer — Vaulito is NOT a Financial Advisor
Vaulito is a data management tool and does not constitute financial advisory, investment advisory, tax advisory, or legal advisory services under any applicable legislation or regulation.
In particular:
- All data, calculations, charts, trends, summaries, and reports presented in the Application are for informational purposes only and serve to organize the User’s data.
- Loan repayment schedules, overpayment simulations, budget summaries, and savings projections are approximations and may differ from actual banking or contractual terms.
- The Application does not recommend any financial products, investment strategies, or decisions regarding spending, saving, or borrowing.
- The User makes all financial decisions entirely at their own risk and responsibility.
- For matters requiring professional advice, the User should consult a licensed financial advisor, tax advisor, or legal professional.
5. AI-Powered Features — Disclaimers and Liability
Vaulito uses artificial intelligence (Azure OpenAI Service, GPT-4.1-mini model) to power selected features.AI Disclaimers:
- No guarantee of accuracy: AI-generated content (categorizations, parsing results, chat responses, suggestions) may contain errors, inaccuracies, omissions, or hallucinations. AI is not infallible.
- Verification obligation: The User is responsible for verifying all data processed or generated by AI features before taking any action based on them.
- Action confirmation: All actions initiated by the AI chat (Vaultie) — such as creating expenses, modifying budgets, adding savings contributions — require the User’s explicit confirmation before execution.
- No liability for AI output: The Service Provider shall not be liable for any losses, damages, erroneous decisions, or adverse consequences resulting from reliance on AI-generated content.
- Limits: Free Plan: 3 AI actions per day. Plus and Premium Plans: unlimited AI actions. The Service Provider reserves the right to modify limits.
- Availability: AI features depend on the availability of external services (Microsoft Azure OpenAI). The Service Provider does not guarantee their uninterrupted availability.
6. Account Registration
To use Vaulito, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password or signing in with Google OAuth. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete registration information.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- All activity that occurs under your account.
- Notifying us promptly of any unauthorized access to your account.
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. Users aged 16–18 require parental or legal guardian consent.
7. Subscription Plans and Payments
The Application offers three plans:
- Free: no charge, with limitations (3 AI actions/day, 10 documents in vault).
- Plus: paid subscription with extended limits.
- Premium: paid subscription with unlimited AI access and advanced reports.
Current prices are displayed on the pricing page and within the Application. Prices include all applicable taxes (VAT, sales tax) as determined by your location.
All paid subscriptions are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (Judd House, 18–29 Mora Street, London, EC1V 8BT, United Kingdom), acting as our Merchant of Record. This means Paddle is the legal seller of paid subscriptions and is responsible for payment processing, invoicing, VAT/sales tax collection and remittance, and refund handling on our behalf.
By purchasing a subscription, you agree to Paddle’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Paddle accepts major credit/debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and selected local payment methods depending on your region.
We do not store your credit card data. All payment information is handled exclusively by Paddle.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the end of the current period. You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Application’s Subscription page.
The Service Provider reserves the right to change prices. Users will be notified of price changes at least 30 days in advance. New prices take effect from the next billing period.
8. Refunds and Right of Withdrawal
Refund requests: Since Paddle is the Merchant of Record, all refund requests are processed by Paddle in accordance with their refund policy. To request a refund, please contact us at contact@vaulito.com or reach out to Paddle directly.
EU consumers — Right of Withdrawal: If you are a consumer within the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the date of purchase (subscription payment) without giving any reason, in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and applicable national implementations.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please send a statement to: contact@vaulito.com.
In the event of withdrawal, the refund will be processed by Paddle without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date the withdrawal statement is received.
The right of withdrawal does not apply if the User has consented to the commencement of service delivery before the expiry of the withdrawal period and has been informed of the loss of the right of withdrawal.
9. Complaints
You may submit a complaint about the Service by emailing: contact@vaulito.com.
A complaint should include: a description of the issue, the account email address, and the expected resolution.
The Service Provider will process the complaint within 14 days of receipt and inform the User of the outcome via email.
EU consumers may use the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform for out-of-court dispute resolution: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Vaulito only for its intended purpose — personal finance management. You must not:
- Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts or systems.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the application.
- Transmit malware, spam, or harmful content through the service.
- Overload the service with automated requests or abuse the API.
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent Free Plan limits.
- Share your account with third parties.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
11. Intellectual Property
The Vaulito application, including its design, source code, brand, logo, graphics, and content, is the intellectual property of WGM Michał Gałecki and is protected by applicable copyright laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Application solely for personal finance management purposes.
You retain full ownership of all data you enter into the Application.
12. Your Data
You retain ownership of all data you enter into Vaulito. We process your data solely to provide the service. For full details on data handling, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
You can at any time:
- Export all your data (Settings → Export My Data) in JSON format.
- Permanently delete your account and all associated data (Settings → Delete Account).
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service Provider does not warrant that:
- The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, and secure at all times.
- Any data displayed is free from errors, delays, or omissions.
- Calculated values (loan schedules, budget summaries, projections, trends) are fully accurate and error-free.
- AI-generated content is correct, complete, and reliable.
- External services (Azure, Paddle, OCR, AI) will be available without interruption.
The Service Provider makes reasonable efforts to ensure proper operation and data security, but shall not be liable for damages arising from reliance on data presented by the Application, including erroneous financial decisions made based on such data.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law (including EU and local consumer protection law), WGM Michał Gałecki shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
- Loss of data, financial losses, lost profits, or business interruption.
- Errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in AI-generated content.
- Financial decisions made based on data presented in the Application.
- Actions or omissions of external service providers (Microsoft, Paddle).
- Unauthorized account access resulting from the User’s failure to protect login credentials.
The Service Provider’s total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by the User for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
The above limitations do not apply to the extent that applicable law (including EU and local consumer protection law) does not permit their exclusion or limitation.
15. Service Availability
The Service Provider makes reasonable efforts to ensure the Service is available 24/7. The Service Provider reserves the right to:
- Temporarily suspend access for maintenance, updates, or technical reasons.
- Modify, add, or remove Application features.
- Discontinue the Service with 30 days’ prior notice (with the ability to export data).
16. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the app’s Settings page. Upon deletion, all your personal data and financial records will be permanently removed.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation.
If you have an active subscription, account cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the unused period (subject to the withdrawal right described in Section 8).
17. Force Majeure
The Service Provider shall not be liable for failure to perform or delay in performing the Service caused by circumstances beyond the Service Provider’s reasonable control (force majeure), including: cloud infrastructure provider outages, cyber attacks, natural disasters, government actions, or interruptions to electricity or internet service.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users via the application or email at least 14 days in advance.
19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland. Any disputes arising from or relating to the use of Vaulito shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Poland.
For consumers, applicable consumer protection legislation applies, including Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and its national implementations.
EU consumers may also use the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
20. Severability
- If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
- Failure by the Service Provider to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce it in the future.
- These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the User and the Service Provider regarding use of the Service.
