Refund Policy

1. Merchant of Record
All paid subscriptions to Vaulito are sold by Paddle.com Market Limited (Judd House, 18–29 Mora Street, London, EC1V 8BT, United Kingdom), acting as our Merchant of Record. Paddle is the legal seller responsible for payment processing, invoicing, VAT/sales tax collection, and refund handling.
Because Paddle is the Merchant of Record, all refund requests are ultimately processed by Paddle in accordance with their policies.
2. How to Request a Refund
If you are not satisfied with your subscription, you may request a refund by:
- Emailing us at contact@vaulito.com with your account email and reason for the request.
- Contacting Paddle directly through the receipt email you received at the time of purchase.
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days.
3. Refund Eligibility
Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. In general:
- Within 14 days of purchase: EU consumers have an unconditional right of withdrawal (see Section 5 below). All other users may request a refund within 14 days if the service did not meet their expectations.
- After 14 days: Refunds are not guaranteed but may be granted at our discretion in exceptional circumstances (e.g., technical issues preventing use of the service).
- Partial billing periods: If you cancel your subscription mid-cycle, you retain access until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.
4. Free Trial
The Premium plan includes a 7-day free trial. During the trial:
- You have full access to all Premium features.
- You will not be charged during the trial period.
- If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged.
- If you do not cancel, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period, and you will be billed at the displayed price.
5. EU Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer within the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the date of purchase (subscription payment) without giving any reason, in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and applicable national implementations.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please send a clear statement to: contact@vaulito.com.
In the event of withdrawal, the refund will be processed by Paddle without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date the withdrawal statement is received.
The right of withdrawal does not apply if the User has consented to the commencement of service delivery before the expiry of the withdrawal period and has been informed of the loss of the right of withdrawal.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Subscription page in the Vaulito app. Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
- You will not be charged for the next billing period.
- After the subscription expires, your account reverts to the Free plan.
- Your data is preserved — nothing is deleted when you downgrade.
7. Refund Method
Approved refunds are processed by Paddle using the original payment method. Processing times depend on your bank or payment provider and are typically 5–10 business days.
